The Falling Elevators perform at the CAC Coffeehouse
One of CAC at Brandeis's main goals is to educate college-age students about cancer issues that relate directly to college-aged adults. We adapt and promote programs of the American Cancer Society that affect us most. We focus mainly on cancer prevention and early detection in order to increase awareness of what campuses can do to decrease cancer risk. Past events have included the Great American Smoke-Out, a national event during which people pledge to stop smoking and help friends and family to do so, and the Cancer-Fighting Foods Coffeehouse, during which students ate and learned about foods that help prevent cancer while being entertained by various campus performance groups.
